Summer arrives early in Southwest Florida

It is Wednesday February 21, 2018 3:00 in the afternoon and the temperature is 83 degrees and it feels wonderful. The fishing is warming up as well. This is my favorite time of year as the days are warm (80s) and the evenings are comfortable (60s). It is great for any outdoor activity you enjoy such as golf, pickleball, tennis, hiking, exploring, kayaking, and my personal favorite; fishing. The snowbirds are here and are out in force. One simply needs to venture onto our roads to see the license plates from all over our great country. There is a palpable positive energy in the air during this time of year. I don’t know if it is because so many folks are here on vacation and enjoying themselves, or it is simply that the weather is energizing us with warm sun and gentle breezes. The breaking of dawn during this season is my favorite and a mesmerizing time of day with the world waking up, birds singing, and sounds of life becoming perceptible. Sunset is a close second for me as the world goes back into a silent slumber and the sun sinks into the west, it is made even more fantastic if one is fortunate enough to watch the sunset over water. The colors reflect and dance off the water and provide an unequalled show of beauty and majesty. Connect with me to see how you can become a snowbird, or even a year-round resident. It is a wonderful, rejuvenating, and soul cleansing environment that you deserve!
